A free plan you can learn on for years
LingoBlend's free tier is not a locked demo. You get unlimited manual word additions, unlimited Basic Blends, and all five practice games — Flashcards with Recall and Recognition modes, Matching, Fill in the Blank, Listening, and Word Quiz — each powered by the same Anki-style spaced repetition that schedules reviews at 10 minutes, 1 hour, and 8 hours, then out to 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, and 120 days.
You can also save words from almost anywhere on the free plan: the iOS and Android share extension, the Chrome extension that right-clicks any word on any website, photo OCR, and 800 pre-built word packs across 25 categories. Graded A1–A2 stories, image associations, personal memory tricks, daily goals, streaks, and Word of the Day are all included. The only metered pieces are three Smart Blends, three photo imports, and three list imports each month.
What Pro adds when free runs short
Pro is for readers who want Smart Blend as a daily tool rather than an occasional taste. It removes the three-per-month cap, so you can paste any article, document, or URL and blend target-language words in at whatever percentage you set on the 10–80% slider, as often as you like. Photo imports and list imports become unlimited too, and you can blend directly from an uploaded file or URL.
Pro also opens features that aren't in the free tier at all: the Word Story game, which turns your own saved vocabulary into a short AI story you can read or listen to before a five-question comprehension quiz; Immersive flashcard mode; verb conjugation tables; advanced word packs; and every graded story from B1 to C2. If you mostly review a fixed set of words with the free games, you may never need it. If you read widely, Pro pays for itself in blends.
Monthly or yearly, same Pro
Pro is €4.99 per month or €49.99 per year. The yearly plan works out to about €4.17 a month — roughly two months free versus paying monthly — and unlocks exactly the same features. Choose monthly if you want to try Pro through a busy stretch of reading; choose yearly if you already know a language is a long project.
One subscription covers both iOS and Android, billed through the App Store or Google Play, and you can manage or cancel it from your device's subscription settings at any time. Whichever you pick, everything in the free plan stays free — Pro only adds.
